Princeton council authorizes federal modification and design contract for Rosedale Road intersection project

The Mayor and Council of Princeton on Sept. 23 authorized a federal agreement modification and approved a professional services contract for final design work on the Rosedale Road (County Route 604) and General Johnson Road intersection and pathway improvement project. Council accepted Federal Agreement Modification No. 2 for the Rosedale Road project (federal project number listed in the meeting materials) and then authorized a professional services agreement with NV5 for final design services in an amount not to exceed $620,167.98. The contracts were moved and seconded and approved by voice vote during the meeting. Council materials and presentation identified the work as an intersection improvement and pathway project intended to advance pedestrian and traffic-safety enhancements at the County Route 604/General Johnson Road location. The municipal engineering department will oversee coordination with Mercer County and state-level project partners as required by the federal funding agreement.
