Germantown Municipal School District staff on Tuesday outlined proposed activity fees for 2025–26 and said the charges will be brought to the board for formal approval at an upcoming business meeting. A district staff member said, “all school fees that we collect from our families have to be approved by the board.”

The district listed six proposed fees for the high school: Blue Suede Crew Club, $10; fall play, $175 for supplies and materials; spring musical, $250; community service club, $20; photography club, $25; and a new art club called Artflow, $15. Board members asked for additional details about some clubs, and staff said they would provide supporting information before the business meeting.

The discussion clarified that the community service club is not a new organization but that the activity fee is new. Miss Borkoski was named as the new sponsor for that club during the exchange. Miss Ross was identified by staff as available to answer follow-up questions about club organization and fees.

No vote or formal approval occurred at the work session; staff said the item will be placed on the next business meeting agenda with documentation provided to trustees several days in advance. The board did not set or adopt any fees during the Sept. 23 meeting.
