District seeks additional bids to replace aging platform chairlift at Rob building

Committee members asked whether contemporary designs still use platform lifts and whether other existing lifts in the district might also need replacement; staff acknowledged another older lift on the Washington Street side (serving the art room) was repaired recently and might also be a candidate for future replacement.
Staff said they will seek at least two additional estimates, with plans to present bids at a future work session once multiple quotes are available. The committee agreed not to proceed until additional quotes are received and reviewed.
