The Stonecrest Urban Redevelopment Agency approved amendments to tenant leases for City Hall on Sept. 22 following an executive session on real estate. The motion to amend the leases was moved and seconded after the board returned from closed session and passed by voice vote. The URA owns the building that houses City Hall and also owns the Sam’s Building, which had been leased to the DeKalb County Board of Elections through Dec. 31, 2024. The agency recorded the approval of the executive-session minutes and then approved the lease-amendment action. The meeting record shows the vote in favor from the members present. The agency did not provide additional public detail about the specific lease changes during the open meeting; those details were handled in executive session and summarized only as “amendments to the tenant leases for City Hall” when the board voted to implement them. The URA chair closed the item and adjourned following routine closing remarks.
