Testing clears mercury; board approves Kiefer flooring proposals for field houses

Administrators said Kiefer provides a 1‑year installation warranty and the manufacturer (Mondo) carries a limited 10‑year warranty against excessive wear or manufacturing defect. The board voted to authorize the administration to sign and execute the contract documents; administrators said the remaining working cash bond plus next fiscal year budget allocations will cover the projects and no additional borrowing is required. Final design choices will be completed in conjunction with athletics and the schools before installation scheduled for 2026.
