The Farmington City Council approved its consent agenda, which included three items: approval of minutes from the Sept. 9, 2025 regular meeting; ratification of a bid award for chip-seal and overlay construction services to American Road Maintenance as the lowest and best bidder after application of the resident business preference for $322,000; and approval of a multi-term contract for crack sealant to Pavement Sealants and Supply as the sole bidder for $51,773.40.
The mayor moved to accept the consent agenda; Councilor Giacchino seconded. The council approved the consent agenda on a voice vote with all present voting aye. No items were pulled for separate discussion.
Why it matters: the actions authorize vendors to perform routine pavement preservation and maintenance work and finalize the meeting minutes for the prior session. No discussion or amendment of the contracts occurred on the record.
