The Weld County Board of County Commissioners on Sept. 22 approved Contract ID 993232, a relocation agreement between Weld County and Little Thompson Water District to move a potable water pipeline that conflicts with the County Road 54 and 13 roundabout project. County public works staff said the county's share of the relocation was $1,209,110 and recommended approval of the agreement; the board approved the contract by voice vote.
A county public works representative identified as Clay presented the agreement and summarized responsibilities and costs. "Our share of the relocation comes to 1,209,000, $110, and we recommend approval of this agreement," Clay said. After the motion and approval, a commissioner thanked Clay and staff member Adria for their work on the project.
Commissioner Jason Maxey moved approval and Commissioner Kevin Ross seconded. The board approved Contract ID 993232 on voice vote. No public testimony was offered on the item during the meeting.
Staff did not provide a detailed funding breakdown during the meeting; the agreement as presented assigns responsibilities for payment between the county and the Little Thompson Water District according to the relocation plan. The contract was authorized for signature by the chair.
