The Finance Committee on Sept. 23 pulled from its agenda a proposed budget modification and contract amendment with GIE Consultants for environmental consulting at the former Wausau business incubator site, 1300 Cleveland Avenue W (DNR BRRTS number 237587081). The chair said the item will be returned to the finance committee with more information after it is first sent to the Economic Development Committee for review. "We are gonna pull that item from the agenda... we're gonna bring this back to finance with more information, but I think we're gonna be sent... the goal is to send that to economic development first," the chair said. No budget modification, contract amendment, nor vote on the matter occurred at the finance meeting; committee members moved the item off the current agenda for additional review.
