The Policy and Procedures Committee accepted revised language for the personnel manual’s administrative-closing section on Sept. 22 and directed staff to prepare the forwarding paperwork for the full commission.
Staff had distributed copies of the current and revised text and pointed to a specific insertion following the announcement section; members reviewed the change and said it replaces earlier wording. A motion was made and seconded to approve the revision as presented; the motion carried by voice vote. Staff said two commissioners will sign the forwarding sheet and the item will be placed on the full-commission docket.
Committee members noted the revision had been intended for last month’s agenda but had not been forwarded. A member confirmed that the revision will go to the full commission and that no material is lost by delaying the forwarding until signatures are obtained.
