The Warwick County School Corporation board approved an MOA with Fort Hays State University to permit undergraduate student teaching and observation in district classrooms and an MOU with the University of Southern Indiana to provide dual-credit opportunities through the university's College Achievement Program at all three Warwick County high schools.
Director of Human Resources Dr. Doug Gresham presented the Fort Hays agreement and said it had been reviewed by Cliff Whitehead. Director of Learning Jason Fisher presented the University of Southern Indiana MOU and said the document had been reviewed and will include all three Warwick County high schools.
Board members moved, seconded and approved both agreements by voice vote. One board member noted it was good to have external interest from the university partners; no public speakers addressed these items during the meeting.
