District staff read four FOIA requests submitted to the Harlem School District in September and summarized the status of responses.
The requests listed were:
- A Sept. 9, 2025 request from Justine Winnie seeking contracts or master service agreements and associated purchase orders for vendors providing alternative transportation in the past three years; the district planned to respond by Sept. 16, 2025.
- A Sept. 8, 2025 request from Owen Wayne asking for copies of contracts for all school principals and copies of active teacher contracts and collective bargaining agreements; the district had not yet responded at the time of the meeting.
- A Sept. 12, 2025 request from Maureen Garcia asking for contractual rates for vendors contracted for speech-language pathologists, social workers, psychologists, behavior analysts, paraprofessionals and registered behavior technicians; staff said they would respond soon.
- A Sept. 16, 2025 request from Jamie Jordan seeking a listing of all district employees (first/last name, email, title/position, and primary campus or department); staff said the district responded to that request on Sept. 17, 2025 with the inclusive documents.
The board recorded the list of FOIA requests as part of the meeting’s public record; no substantive discussion or disputes about the requests were recorded during the meeting.
