Board member Rebecca Carlson asked the board to approve the second reading of policy updates that were first introduced Aug. 18 and came with 52 associated attachments. “I have a recommendation to approve the second reading of the policy updates from August 18 to identify first readings with 52 attachments,” Carlson said.
The motion to approve the second reading was moved and seconded and the board recorded aye votes from members present. No substantive debate about the content of the policies was recorded on the transcript during the second-reading vote; the board conducted the vote as part of routine business.
The board member said a policy committee meeting is expected Oct. 8 where further review may occur, but the recorded action at this meeting approved the second reading as presented.
