Eureka City Council unanimously adopted Ordinance No. 2025-09-22-02 on Sept. 22, a measure adopting and codifying local rules governing the sale and consumption of alcohol and beer.

Mayor Tony Deaver opened the item and the council moved and seconded adoption following a brief call for discussion. Council members voiced no objections during the vote and the ordinance passed by unanimous voice vote.

The ordinance establishes the city’s regulatory framework for alcohol sales and consumption; council members did not discuss substantive policy changes during the public meeting and no amendments were proposed. City staff will codify the ordinance in the municipal code and post any licensing and enforcement guidance needed for businesses.

The action was procedural in nature and passed without dissent.
