The Clinton County Board of Supervisors on Sept. 22 approved Resolution 2025-265 to vacate two small sections of right-of-way along 251st Street in the unincorporated town of Malone and sell them to adjacent property owners by quitclaim deed.

Parcel A, described in the resolution as roughly 30 feet by 198 feet (5,940 square feet) and adjacent to Lots 4–6 in Block 2 of the Original Town of Malone, is to be sold to Rodeny L. Templeton, 3359 251 St., DeWitt, IA, for $292.74.
