Red Willow County commissioners approved a 12‑month zoning moratorium on data centers by adopting Resolution No. 1577 during the consent portion of the Sept. 22 meeting. The resolution was listed among consent agenda items the board approved by roll call.

The moratorium was included in a consent motion that also covered accounts payable, payroll claims and several roadway occupancy agreements. The motion passed with Randy Dean and Charles Fritsche voting aye; Commissioner Ted Gans was absent.
