The Greenwood Parks and Recreation Board on Sept. 9 approved the use of a city credit card for a fundraiser organized by Taffy's Touch senior dog rescue scheduled for Oct. 25 from 1 to 4 p.m.
Board members described the event as a charity fundraiser benefiting the rescue and said they had no problems with the request. The motion to permit credit card use was moved and seconded and passed by voice vote.
No budgetary amount or further administrative conditions were stated on the record; the board noted the beneficiaries would be Taffy's Touch senior dog rescue.
