McCracken County Fiscal Court on Sept. 19 approved routine fiscal and personnel items including cash transfers, voucher payments, board appointments and a parks vehicle purchase.
The court ordered cash transfers totaling $920,000 to pay county bills and payroll approved that day, and the voucher-claims register through Sept. 19 showed $328,911.45 in bills paid, as read into the record by the county clerk.
The court reappointed Charles Robertson to the Lone Oak Fire Board for a three-year term ending June 30, 2028, and appointed Mahan Upender to the senior citizens board for a term ending June 30, 2028. The clerk read each appointment into the record and the court approved them.
The court held a bid opening for a pickup truck for the McCracken County Parks Department; three bids were received and the court awarded the contract to Linwood Motors for a 2026 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 for $39,831. The judge executive was authorized to sign documents and the treasurer to pay invoices related to the purchase.
All items noted above were ordered by the court and recorded as approved; no board action was reported to have been tabled or deferred during the meeting.
