Board President Donahue said the board has 60 days to fill the vacancy and cited two immediate priorities informing the request to waive the usual process: selecting a new superintendent and beginning upcoming contract negotiations. "After careful evaluation and given the immediacy of these critical tasks, I'm asking the Board to waive our typical process for filling a vacated Board seat," Donahue said during the meeting.
