Airport manager: hailstorm damaged city-owned roofs; hangars and tower slated for replacement

The damage assessment includes hangar roofs and the tower; Austin said he will coordinate with contractors and airport staff and expects to solicit bids and scheduling in the coming days and weeks.
Austin also told commissioners he had contacted tenants with past-due through-the-fence fees; he said tenants were contacted and “should be working on getting that paid up.” Commission members requested an update on delinquent accounts at the next meeting.
