Parks department introduces new senior clerk, Amy Solis

The Davenport Park and Recreation Department introduced Amy Solis as its new senior clerk at the advisory council's September meeting. Department staff said Solis joined in July to replace Alyssa Walsh and has already advanced through initial training.
Solis told the council she worked about 10 years in health care as a physical therapist assistant and medical assistant and said she chose parks and recreation for its community outreach. "I'm just very excited to be here and excited to learn," Solis said.
Staff thanked Solis for her work learning new software and said training is moving into the next phase. The council offered a brief welcome before moving to other agenda items.
