Peabody City Planning Board members confirmed on Sept. 18, 2025, that the updated city planning zoning map — revised to reflect MBTA 3A communities rezoning — has been adopted and endorsed by the board and accepted by the state, but the board deferred signing the final large-format map until the next meeting.
Staff said the board had already voted to endorse the map after the MBTA-related rezoning and that the state has accepted the zoning changes; what remains is circulation of a large copy so members can sign the final document.
The board expects to bring a large-format map to the next meeting for signatures and closed the item for this session.
