Two agenda items for Dominion Apartments were postponed after staff identified an error in sign-posting that requires correction before the items can be legally processed. Planning Director Dan Miller told the commission that the Dominion apartment small-scale comprehensive-plan amendment and the PUD rezoning needed to be held to correct sign-posting and processing errors; the applicant requested postponements and the commission approved them.
Staff noted that two cases on the evening’s agenda (the Dominion apartment small-scale comp plan and PUD) were to be held because of the sign-posting error and that applicants had been contacted and agreed to the delay. For the PUD case (PUD 25-1270) a postponement motion passed; the transcript records that both items were postponed and rescheduled as requested.
No public testimony or substantive discussion of Dominion project merits occurred because the items were continued. The commission will consider the items at the future, re-noticed hearings when sign-posting and advertisement comply with legal notice requirements.
