GLENDALE HEIGHTS, Ill. — Organizers of the Glendale Heights Charity Golf Classic presented five checks totaling $22,500 to local nonprofits at the Village Board meeting on Sept. 18.
Jennifer (last name not stated), representing Glendale Lakes Golf Course staff and event organizers, told trustees the Aug. 27 event drew 107 golfers and raised $22,500 that will be distributed equally among five local organizations. “A total of $22,500 was raised and will be equally distributed amongst these organizations with each charity receiving $4,500,” Jennifer said.
