He described the task order as "an amount, not to exceed $29,000," and said the work covers redesign of the first median based on NDOT feedback, permitting with NDOT and managing the public bid process. He asked the commission to ratify Greg’s execution of the task order.
A motion to ratify the task order was made and seconded; the chair called for the vote and those present said "aye." The motion to ratify execution of Task Order No. 4 passed.
Context and next steps: staff said HWC is preparing specifications for bid documents and the plan is to design one median that could be replicated for up to three additional medians between the interstate and Post Road. The intent is to complete landscaping in the fall planting season if timing permits, or in spring, to avoid another season of overgrown medians.
