The Southwest ISD Board of Trustees received a multi-site construction update Tuesday night that showed the new central office near completion and multiple campus renovation projects progressing through scheduled phases. Architect Andrew Betas of RBK Architects told the board the central office is “very nearly complete” and estimated about 94% overall completion, with exterior masonry, sidewalks and driveways underway and interior work—carpet, millwork and mechanical test-and-balance—nearing finish. “Each day that passes more and more pavement is showing up on-site, so we’re getting closer and closer to being done,” Betas said.
