At a Lee County Board meeting, commissioners approved two appointments by voice vote: the reappointment of Tyler Burke to the Sublet Fire Protection District board of trustees and the appointment of Charles Plock as a commissioner on the Lee County Housing Authority. The chairman asked for objections; none were raised. A motion to approve the two appointments was moved and seconded; commissioners voted in favor by voice and the motion was recorded as carried. Separately, the board reported it had received a resignation letter from Josh Tucker resigning from the 911 board. In his resignation letter, Tucker recommended Deb Trancusco as his replacement. County officials noted support for that recommendation in separate emails from Shelley Dallas and Ryan Buscault. Because the recommendation arrived after the agenda posting, the board said it could not act on that appointment at the meeting and will place the item on the full board meeting agenda for consideration. The appointments approved at the meeting took effect by board action; the 911 board replacement will be considered at a later meeting.
