Commission grants three‑year extension for Arthur Street Lot 2 order of conditions

The Brockton Conservation Commission granted a three‑year extension for the Lot 2 order of conditions on Arthur Street, extending the time for construction and the monitoring schedule associated with restoration work near a pump house.

Agent Kyle Holden told commissioners that Lot 2 construction has begun and that the reproduction/planting around a well house or pump house requires monitoring; Lot 1 lies outside the commission’s jurisdiction. The commission previously denied a COC for the roadway extension portion of the project because of unpermitted impacts; that matter will be addressed separately. The three‑year extension covers Lot 2’s ongoing work and the required restoration monitoring.

Commissioners approved the extension by roll call vote.
