The Fall River Commission on Disability unanimously reelected Dennis Paulselli as chair and chose Deborah Pacheco as vice chair and Lisa Silva as clerk at its Sept. 17 meeting. Commissioners also approved meeting minutes and returned the agenda to regular order before taking up updates.
The nominations and votes were held early in the session after commissioners agreed to take the agenda out of order to accommodate a commissioner with a timing conflict. Anne O'Neil Souza moved to reappoint Dennis Paulselli as chair; Commissioner Lisa Silva seconded the motion. The roll-call vote recorded unanimous support from Paulselli, Silva, Dan Robillard, Anne O'Neil Souza and Katie (Kay) Driscoll.
O'Neil Souza also moved to elect Deborah Pacheco as vice chair; the motion passed on a roll-call vote with unanimous support. The commission then nominated and approved Lisa Silva as clerk (referred to on the record as the commission's clerk/secretary). The body completed the remaining formalities, including approval of the Aug. 13, 2025, minutes by roll-call vote.
Actions taken were procedural officer elections and minute approval; no policy changes or new programs were adopted in connection with the votes. The commission will carry the same slate of officers for the 2025–26 term.
The commission convened the votes at the start of the meeting to accommodate scheduling and moved remaining business, including public input, later in the agenda.
