The Butte‑Silver Bow Council of Commissioners on Sept. 17 concurred and placed on file a communication listing appointments to the Business Improvement District board. Chief Executive JP Gallagher read the nominees: Azar Boguri, Michael Potts, Jeff Riggs, Maisie Sulser, Shanna Adams, Matthew Seitzer and Cassie Wick, with addresses included in the record. Commissioner Dan O’Leary — who had previously requested the item be segregated for comment — thanked the nominees who were present and praised their work on the BID effort. O’Leary moved to concur and place the communication on file; the motion passed 9–0. Council members said they look forward to working with the new BID board as it begins its duties.
