WIMBERLEY, Texas — The Wimberley City Council unanimously adopted the city’s fiscal year 2025–26 budget and approved a revised fee schedule on Sept. 8 after a public hearing and staff presentation. The council approved Resolution No. 06‑2025 to adopt the budget and fee schedule.
The hearing followed a staff review of the proposed budget and fees led by City Administrator Tim Pawtek, who noted one change to the fee schedule: a daily rate of $1,500 for renting the whole Wimberley Community Center venue. “They wanted to put that in there in case somebody wants to rent the whole venue out, but not use it all,” Pawtek said during the meeting.
The move puts the adopted spending and revenue plan into effect for the coming fiscal year and incorporates the fee schedule as presented to council. No public comments were offered during the hearing, and the council moved directly to a vote.
