The Revere License Commission approved a one-day malt and wine, common victualer and entertainment license for the City of Revere’s annual fall festival at the Yard at Suffolk Downs on Saturday, Oct. 4, from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Rose Burns, events manager for the city, said the festival is a continuation of the annual fall festival that previously took place at City Hall and that the move to Suffolk Downs aims to expand space, vendors and capacity. She told the commission the city expects increased vendor capacity and that Twisted Fate brewery would manage ID checks and wristbanding for alcohol service.
Commissioners approved the application after staff confirmed event details; no public opposition was recorded on the application during the hearing.
