The Auburn City Council approved a two-year fiscal 2026–27 budget during its Sept. 16 meeting, Mayor Ron Anders said. Mayor Anders said the council delayed final approval “a couple of weeks” so citizens could evaluate the proposal and that detailed budget materials are available online. “This is the money that you have provided the city to provide services for you and your family,” he said.
