Board members noted the golf course’s revenue has risen in recent years and voted to support a warrant article (article 2) to allow golf-revolving-fund balances in excess of $75,000 to be appropriated for general-fund operating expenses. The board said using some of the golf fund as a revenue source is one of several strategies to diversify town revenues and reduce pressure on residential property taxes.
