The Lower Moreland Board of School Directors voted to add TD Bank as a depository for the district for the 2025-26 school year and approved routine financial items including a wire transfer list dated Aug. 31 and checklists dated Aug. 25 and Sept. 10.
A speaker noted that transaction volumes were “seem[ing] to be escalating” and suggested looking at moving local accounts to TD Bank, which was described as a community bank. The board approved adding TD Bank by voice vote after a motion and second.
The board also approved the wire-transfer list and the two checklists by voice vote. No dollar figures were read into the public discussion; the meeting materials attached to the agenda included the amounts.
The approvals were presented as routine finance items under buildings and grounds and general business. Staff did not describe any immediate changes to banking policy beyond adding TD Bank to the list of approved depositories.
The board did not record roll-call tallies for these votes in the transcript; each motion carried by general assent.
