Staff also presented a one‑month extension of the county’s contract with NAF Care to continue providing health services at the county corrections facility while a new vendor agreement is completed; staff estimated the one‑month cost at about $227,500 for October. The consent agenda included a renewal item for a Humana Group Medicare plan for law enforcement officers and firefighters (staff said the plan is grandfathered and likely covers fewer than 13 members), a professional‑services agreement with Bundy Law Group for employment law matters, and several resolutions certifying the 2026 budgets for diking and drainage improvement districts (District Nos. 3, 1 and 15 were listed).
Additional notices and routine items included a Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) notice about Pacific Power’s dam safety program dated Sept. 8, 2025; recorded easements on two contiguous parcels at the end of Hanson Road to clarify right‑of‑way issues; and vouchers from the prior month totaling $4,534,619.74. The board approved the consent agenda by motion and a voice vote.
