On Sept. 16 during morning announcements, the school's announcements reader, Lucy, said the winners of the junior class elections had been decided and named the officers. Lucy announced Janeth Abhisinghe as junior class president; Cole LeSueur and Kendall Shields as class representatives; William Rayner as treasurer; Addie Klosterman as secretary; and Brett Sauer as vice president. Lucy also thanked all who ran and voted and asked candidates to take down their campaign signs. "New officers, you'll be contacted as to the next steps," she said. The announcement did not include vote totals or details about the election process.
