HENDERSON COUNTY, Texas — The Henderson County Commissioners Court approved several routine consent items in a single set of votes, including prior meeting minutes, tax refunds, a board appointment, a final replat and budget and bill approvals.
The court approved minutes for the previously held meeting on Sept. 9, 2025. The tax assessor‑collector presented two refund checks for court approval totaling $26,677.27; staff said these refunds represented overpayments for all taxing entities. The court voted unanimously to approve the refunds.
The court appointed Cindy Williams to the Henderson County Child Welfare Board after staff (Miss Vaughn) reported that Williams’s application and background check had been approved. The appointment was approved unanimously.
On subdivision business, the court approved a final replat in the Briarwood Harbor subdivision to create Lots 20R and 21R for filing purposes after county development staff said the replat adjusts a boundary so a property owner could sell a portion of Lot 21 to an adjacent neighbor.
The court also approved budget amendments as presented and approved payment of fiscal‑year 2025 bills in the amount of $597,513.90. All votes on these consent items were unanimous.
