KANE COUNTY, Ill. — During the Sept. 16 meeting planning and permitting staff highlighted two recent permits: a new full‑movement access for the Algonquin Meadows subdivision on the north side of Longmeadow Parkway and a right‑in/right‑out access for Ignite Batavia on Main Street Road east of Deer Path in Batavia.
For Algonquin Meadows staff said the work included concrete widening, new left‑ and right‑turn lanes, curb and gutter, pavement markings, signage, right‑of‑way regrading and a new multi‑use path sidewalk on the north side of Longmeadow Parkway.
For Ignite Batavia the county permitted a right‑in/right‑out access with a barrier median and right‑only signage to address spacing and turning‑movement concerns. Staff said the work included widening, right‑of‑way regrading, signage and utility coordination.
Staff identified the Algonquin Meadows work as in District 2 (representative jurisdiction) and the Ignite Batavia work in District 23. No committee votes were required during the presentation; staff asked for questions and noted the work had proceeded through the county permitting review process.
