A staff member presiding at the Davies County auditors meeting opened a public hearing at 11 a.m. Sept. 2025 and adjourned it one minute later after saying no members of the public were present.
“This public meeting is being held due to, the CNAV process and the AVs needing to be updated,” the staff member said as the hearing was opened. The staff member said the public notice had been advertised and that there would be no public comment because no one attended.
The staff member said the hearing was intended to allow changes to AVs tied to the county’s CNAV process, specifically to add the El Nora and Plainville units to the old library tax and to adjust the AMPA AV after the county received a new file from the state. “We also have received a new file from the state,” the staff member said.
The staff member closed the hearing and adjourned the meeting at 11:01 a.m. There were no motions, votes, or public comments recorded during the session.
The record indicates the meeting was procedural: staff opened the advertised public hearing to permit administrative updates to AV records and then closed the hearing when no public comment was offered.
