Planning staff told the commission that several subdivision matters are eligible for the consent agenda: SB Barton Village Sub LLC’s final plat for Barton Village Phase 2 (about 40.36 acres, 123 single‑family lots on Barton’s Creek Road, zoned RS‑6 in Ward 3) and Castle Rock Communities’ preliminary plat for Linwood Subdivision (about 62.38 acres, 124 lots at 811 Hartsville Pike, zoned RR, RD‑9 and RS‑12 in Ward 2) have addressed staff comments and are eligible for consent.
By contrast, staff said the Hufegger Group’s Burdick Commons final plat (three lots on about 0.79 acres at 217 and 219 Burdick Street, zoned R‑2 in Ward 2) was incomplete and therefore ineligible for consent. Staff identified missing information, including the area and metes‑and‑bounds description for the proposed right‑of‑way dedication. The applicant, David Huffaker, said he was present to work with surveyors and answer questions; Brian Keith of K & A Land Surveying said he had information indicating the plat was complete and that removing it from the agenda was inappropriate. Staff replied that the project must be complete before coming to the commission and that it would be removed from the current agenda; staff said they would follow up in writing and the item can return next month once corrections are made.
No consent vote was recorded at the meeting; staff indicated eligible items will proceed on the consent agenda in the next step of the process and that Burdick Commons must provide the requested survey information before returning.
