Project manager Jean presented the Crossroads at Kelly Park Phase 2A subdivision plat to the Development Review Committee on Sept. 17, describing the submittal as the northern portion of the overall Phase 2 split and consisting of 81 lots.
Jean said the city had provided comments from the city surveyor and the city’s legal counsel on the plat; she added that, with the next submittal addressing those comments, the applicant likely would not need to return to the DRC.
During review, a public works representative said a drainage easement shown on the plat appears to be dedicated to the homeowners association but contains a storm pipe that the city will need to maintain. The public works representative said that easement therefore needs to be dedicated to the city, and Jean said she would record that comment for the applicant to address.
Community development staff and other departments — police, fire and building — had no additional comments at the DRC meeting. No vote or formal action was taken; staff recorded comments for correction before the next submittal.
