Beaucham also said county staff met earlier that day about the jail roof and will seek repair cost estimates; staff will look for alternatives that avoid expensive crane or helicopter lifts to move HVAC units if possible. The court did not take action on the JJAEP acquisition at the Sept. 16 meeting; the purchase remains under review pending final inspections and paperwork.
