DOT to hold public meetings on US-2/airport intersection; county told to expect roundabout or overpass options

County road staff reported the stakeholder meeting update and said they will coordinate a subsequent joint meeting with the city of Grand Forks and the county commission if needed. Staff placed the DOT presentation materials in the commission packet for information and said they will alert the board when scheduling coordination meetings with city leadership and the sheriff’s office.
Public meeting details: Staff said Nov. 4 and Nov. 5 sessions will run 6–8 p.m. at the Alaris Center and that the formal presentation is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. Commissioners were asked to note those public opportunities for community input.
