The Larimer County Planning Commission on Sept. 17 approved a three-item consent agenda that included two rezoning applications and a transportation plan that had been tabled from the Aug. 20 meeting.
The consent agenda as read by Chair Lisa Chollet included the previously tabled “Larimer on the Move” transportation plan, the Lonesome Range self-storage rezoning in North Fort Collins (file 24-ZONE-3705) and the Braun rezoning (file 25-ZONE-3799). Commissioner Connor Duffy moved to approve the consent agenda; Commissioner Patrick Rowe seconded. The motion passed on a roll-call vote, 5 to 2.
The commission did not open any of the consent items for staff presentation, applicant comment, or public testimony because no commissioner or member of the public asked to pull an item from the consent agenda. Planning manager Jenny Axmaker explained earlier in the meeting that items on the consent agenda are treated as routine and are not presented unless pulled for discussion or comment.
Because the items remained on the consent agenda, there were no staff presentations or applicant rebuttals recorded in the public transcript for the three items. The commission’s approval therefore represents acceptance of the items as presented on the consent agenda packet; no further deliberation or recorded public testimony occurred at the Sept. 17 meeting.
The commission’s action completes the items’ processing for this meeting; any subsequent administrative steps or hearings required for implementation were not discussed on the record at this meeting.
