At the Sept. 16 meeting the board approved a series of Health and Human Services resolutions to accept state funding and authorize local provider agreements for social-services programs. Resolutions read into the record included acceptance of funding from the New York State Office of Mental Health and the Office for People With Developmental Disabilities, and amendments to the 2025 county budget where specified. One resolution specifically amended the budget to increase fund balance by $62,435 for a State Office for People With Developmental Disabilities allocation. The board also authorized agreements for Title III-E National Family Caregiver Support Program respite and personal-care services with Fort Hudson Home Care Inc. and Accent Healthcare Services Inc., and agreements to operate runaway and homeless youth services and youth development programming with Captain Community Human Services Inc. and the Town of Clifton Park.
