Board hears financial report; $875 county foundation grant recorded

The West Bend Community Library board received its financial report for August on Tuesday, noting small interest earnings, two outgoing checks and a recent grant from the Washington County Charitable Foundation. The board also reviewed the draft budget timeline: staff said the budget would be presented to the city council on Oct. 6 and that small adjustments were still possible, including wage adjustments for an evaluated position and a higher-than-anticipated pay scale for a bilingual position. The consent agenda (including August minutes and August expenditures) was approved with a single correction to the Train chiller date in the minutes.
