Weber County staff told the commission Sept. 15 the Gold Spike Stormwater (GSSWAC) coalition completed a request‑for‑proposals process for an executive‑director contractor and recommended renewing JUB Group for another term.
Tucker Waits, who presented the item, said JUB has served as the coalition’s executive director for several years and helped keep projects on track and updated the coalition on state regulatory changes; the coalition voted to select JUB again. Staff said the contract renewal will appear on the commission agenda as a consent item.
Commissioners signaled no objection; one commissioner said JUB has done “a really good job” and that coalition members appreciate the firm’s work. No formal commission action was recorded at the work session; staff will place the renewal on the consent calendar for the upcoming public meeting.
