The Technology Committee received and placed on file an amendment for Public Works’ on-call professional engineering contract with Donahue and Associates to extend SCADA support through Nov. 30, 2026, with no change to the contract total. The motion to receive and place on file passed by voice vote.
The committee also received and placed on file a recommendation for approval of a contract purchase order to Insight Public Sector Inc. for computers and small IT equipment for the Clerk of the Circuit Court for the period Sept. 9, 2025, through Sept. 8, 2026, for a total contract amount of $88,206, per bid 25-098.
Anthony, a committee member, commented in support of receiving informational items: “Just always wanted to give credit, to, any organization that gives us informational items. Of course, they don't have to. Elected officials don't have to. But thank you to, Public Works and to the, Clerk of the Circuit Court for submitting these items through. We don't always get all items, but we'd like to so that we can review them.” He said committee review helps catch redundancies and pricing issues.
Both items were listed on the agenda as informational; the committee took no further formal actions such as directing staff to pursue different solicitations or to return with additional reports during the meeting.
