Council appoints Cadence Stegall to planning commission to finish term through 2025

The Warren City Council on Sept. 15 appointed Cadence Stegall to the planning commission to serve the remainder of a term expiring Dec. 31, 2025. City staff said Stegall previously served on the commission (from January 2024 to March 2025) and resigned for work reasons; she has since changed employment and is available to return.
City staff recommended appointment to fill one of two vacancies on the planning commission and noted the appointee may later apply for a new four‑year appointment. A council member made a motion, it was seconded, and a roll‑call vote recorded the motion as carrying with five affirmative votes.
Staff thanked the appointee and noted the city relies on volunteers for boards and commissions. The appointment is to serve the remainder of the current term through Dec. 31, 2025.
