Staff explained the change would help traffic flow where there is a fully occupied apartment building across the street and reduce vehicles blocking both sides of the road.
Councilmember Doug Brandt moved to remove the no‑parking restriction and replace it with the 15‑minute loading zone; the council approved the request by voice vote. Staff said signage will be installed to indicate the new restriction and that the zone will cover about 38 feet between the two driveways.
